
Monday 26th November 2018: The FP WHEB Sustainability Fund has won the award for ‘Best Sustainable Investment Fund’ at Investment Week’s Sustainable & ESG Investment Awards 2018.
The awards are aimed at fund managers and organisations who are at the forefront of facilitating or investing in themes that consider the environment, ethics, as well as social and corporate responsibility, and whose work promotes a greater understanding of the sector’s potential.
There were ten funds shortlisted in the category and the judges commented that the FP WHEB Sustainability fund “had a very strong submission with excellent short and midterm performance, a convincing process and level of engagement”.
Submissions were marked against a range of criteria including:
• Clear identification of sustainable objectives including environmental, ethical and ESG investment objectives
• Performance
• Experience in sector
• Communication to investors
• Transparency
• Reputation and Compliance
• Levels of ongoing service and support
• Overall quality of submission
On winning the award, WHEB’s Managing Partner George Latham said: “We are very proud to have won Best Sustainable Investment Fund. We were highly recommended in this category last year and we’re thrilled to be recognised again at the Sustainable Investment & ESG awards.”
