London, 07 October 2024 — WHEB Asset Management (WHEB), the impact investing pioneer has won the Responsible Investor of the Year award at the Reuters annual Sustainability Awards 2024.
This news comes several weeks after the company confirmed that it was adopting the ‘Sustainability Impact’ label on the FP WHEB Sustainability Impact Fund – becoming one of the first funds to use the label since the Financial Conduct Authority’s Sustainability Disclosure Requirements (SDR) regime came into force on 31 July 2024.
Beating off significant competition the awards’ judge’s cited WHEB’s approach to sustainability investing as:
“head and shoulders above everybody else. Their clear and focused investment strategy has played a leading role in making the sustainable investment industry as a whole more investable."
