Alice Chapple, Director of Impact Value and authority on sustainable investment appointed to WHEB’s independent Investment Advisory Committee
WHEB Asset Management is pleased to announce that Alice Chapple has been appointed to the firm’s independent Investment Advisory Committee. Alice is a Director at Impact Value which she set up in 2012 to provide advice to companies and investors on how to deliver meaningful impact beyond financial returns. Before Impact Value, Alice was Director of Sustainable Financial Markets at Forum for the Future and has also worked at UK development finance institution CDC as a financial analyst, fund manager and social and environmental advisor.
Alice’s current roles include Chair of Investor Watch (which seeks to align capital markets with a sustainable future through Carbon Tracker and Planet Tracker), Independent Director of the Schroders BSC Social Impact Trust, Trustee of the Shell Foundation, and member of the Advisory Boards of Frontier Finance Solutions and Connected Asset Management. Alice has also developed a sustainable finance course for the University of Cambridge Institute of Sustainability Leadership.

Alice joins three other external members of the committee which include Kingsmill Bond, New Energy Strategist at Carbon Tracker, Ray Dhirani, Head of Sustainable Finance at WWF-UK and Carole Ferguson, Managing Director at Industry Tracker. The Committee meets every four months to review the holdings in WHEB’s investment funds for their consistency with the funds’ aims and objectives.
